Vecova Bottle Depot (Calgary) - March 2023

On March 18, 2023 the ABDA recognized the Vecova Bottle Depot for the first “Applaud a Depot” event of 2023. The weather was nice and the event was well attended.

Vecova operates one of the 15 depots affiliated with not-for-profit social enterprises. Started in Calgary in 1966, Vecova has been supporting people with disabilities by providing work opportunities and other important services. Here’s what their customer, Carly, had to say:
